Broadstripe vs Qwest DSL, Western Washington

Input from others:

BROADSTRIPE ALMOST KILLED MY HUSBAND
Last month my husband was having chest pains. I tried to call 911 but there was no dial tone on my phone.

I HAVE BROADSTRIPE AND I F-ING HATE IT!
IT NEVER WORKS. ... IT WOULD BE FASTER FOR ME TO GO DIAL UP. EVERYBODY AROUND US HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. ...NEVER EVER SIGN UP WITH THEM. EVER!

kmail retires from my machines

Kmail, KDE's email client no longer could deliver and display a simple email. More features were being added before being fixed and the heavy weight still wouldn't open a picture using KDE's file association database. A ton of issues arose with kmail over time with no apparent updates to fix. If a person were to use open sores as an OS, the source should be included until the OS contains software that is no longer developed and remains in a mature state.

Or, we can just switch programs and keep a vector.

I've switched to Thunderbird as an email client. I'm shocked in how much development went into Thunderbird. The setup process is entirely automated.

iMovie lost my clips

iMovie lost my event clips!!

Whenever smooth sailing turns into a mess, I like to let others know how to avoid the storm, or at least how to get out of it.

Recently, while using iMovie on the Apple platform to generate a short video (video here), all of my source video clips disappeared; Nothing was left in the clips pane other than a grayed out screen.

Click the "Window" menu drop down at the top, and select "Show Event Library" to get back to your event clips. Why or how the event library ever worked without specific control baffles me, but this solution takes out the fear of using iMovie.
