Is Facebook becoming overloaded

When trying to view a specific image, facebook does not respond. The comments and web elements come up, but the image doesn't appear for sometimes 30 seconds.
Additionally, as you can see in the image, when trying to upload photos to Facebook, the java applet couldn't locate the server.
Is facebook overloaded?
