Fresh Install of Kubuntu 9.10 Karmic

I had switched to Ubuntu from Kubuntu because of the instabilities in the new kde 4 system. When Ubuntu 9.10 came out, I became weary of the future of Ubuntu. I then switched back to Kubuntu 9.10. I will say, I had too many issues installing Kubuntu-desktop on top of Ubuntu. I had sound issues and x64 flash not getting sound out. Installing Kubuntu 9.10 rather than adding Kubuntu-desktop was a better option. I am sure that there are little fixes here and there, but the way the Ubuntu story goes, nobody really knows for sure how deep the rabbit hole goes.
