Green = Efficiency
Let's talk computers; a good illustration for my point:
Remember when computers lasted 8 years?
Do you remember when "4 megabytes of memory was all you'd ever need?"
Remember when Apple was pinned down for not having a green process of hardware manufacturing?
Today, what's the typical lifespan of a PC? 2 or 3 years? They may last longer than 2 or 3 years, but how about the operating system before extinctifying a machine's capability to keep up?
... And an Apple product? Close to 8 years perhaps? Or Linux which runs on any decade old machine?
In my opinion, if a computer manufacturer builds a computer to give 8 years of performance verses the computer that gives 2 or 3 years, which is more green?
You guessed it, the one not sitting in the landfill.
