Upgrading from Ubuntu 9.10 to 10.04 LTS

Errors During Upgrade

Using the wizard that popped up in the lower right of Kubuntu 9.10, upgrading to 10.04 LTS has been a cinch, except for the error dialogue labeled: akonadi_gcal_resource_10 - AkonadiTray

"The protocol version of the Akonadi server is incompatible. Make sure you have a compatible version installed. (Protocol version 15 found, expected at least 23)". Options are to click "OK".

So far, I've clicked "OK" to 3 identical dialogues.

Firefox Segfaults (wouldn't start)

After restarting the system at completion of install, Firefox gave segmentation faults and wouldn't run. Opening a terminal and running:

sudo apt-get remove libmoon

Fixed the problem.. Although, this was a moonlight plugin, removing it allowed Firefox to run.

Update: After removing all deb packages relating to moonlight, and installing again:

sudo apt-get install moonlight-plugin-mozilla --reinstall
